Requirements needed to join the team

Must pass a background check

We guarantee our customers that only contract haulers who have a good background to put their mind at ease that our teams do not have a criminal history. You will be required to pay for your own background check, but we do offer a way to waive the background check fee.

Contractor Incentives

First order completed within 30 days = $30.00
Five orders completed within 30 days = $20.00
Total potential earning for a newLoader = $50.00

Must bring the proper tools

In order to get any removal job done, you are required to bring general tools that will ensure all pick-ups are completed.

Smartphone required

Contractors on the junkremov platform use the platform to view available orders, view payouts, accept and manage orders, GPS navigation, and close out jobs once completed with photos.

Helper required

We require a helper so that both our Contractors remain safe and our customers receive the best white glove pick-up service possibly. Due to the size and weight of some of the items, one person physically can’t pick up the items alone. Every helper must be authorized and registered users on the Junkremov platform, before being assigned on any order.

Must be 18 years or older

General Liability

Various coverage amounts are accepted. General liability protects you when entering a customer’s home. Accidents rarely happen but when they occur in the customer’s home, the liability coverage will protect you at all times.

Vehicle Type Requirements

Do you have a box truck or a pick up truck + trailer that is 2006 or newer? Some of our pick ups can be bulky and many pieces so larger vehicles ensure that we are able to get all of the items in one pick up instead of multiple trips and you get the opportunity to get the most money from one job. Trailers can be 6′, 8′ or 28′.

3. Background checks and insurance

Now that you’ve determined if you want to be a Contractor, we will complete your background check and get copies of your insurance in order to stay compliant.

4. Contractor agreement

Congratulations, you’ve been approved to become a Contractor and are on the path to start making money as an independent labor and hauling professional.

5. Onboarding

Now we make sure you have everything needed to get started including introducing you to our Junkremov network and custom Driver portal to make your daily job easier as well as getting to know our services.

Contractor frequently asked questions

Do I have to have a helper?

Yes. Many of our customers’ items are large, heavy and awkward to move. We require two people on each job to ensure all items are removed safely without damaging the home.

Can I just use a pickup truck?

If you are using a truck, a trailer must be attached. Some of our scheduled pick ups often will fill up and exceed the size of a typical truck bed. Using a trailer allows our Contractors to remove all of the items in a single pick up.

Do I have to have insurance?

Auto insurance is required to be on the platform. Work Comp or Occ Acc must follow your state guidelines.

How new does my truck need to be?

We recommend less than 12 years old but if the condition is suitable – we will consider an older vehicle.

Do I have to dedicate my entire day to Junkremov orders?

Contractors can do as many or as little orders in a day as they choose. We are flexible with availability. The customers select their service windows (All Day, Morning, Afternoon, Evening). There is a lot of variety with when a Contractor can choose to be available.
